Nathan's Room

Starting off in our new house with bubblegum pink walls wasn't Nathan's idea of exciting.  After a pep-talk and a promise of painting his room as our first priority, Nathan was patient and we were able to finish his room pretty quickly.  Our friend Alicia is a gifted artist, and she offered to paint the boys' rooms in whatever theme they chose!  So from start to finish, here's the process of Nathan's now not pink room!

Oh, so pink.

After FOUR coats of primer.  Finally paintable.

Base paint done - sky blue and lime green.

Just to give you an idea on size.

Alicia did a fantastic job on Nathan's Angry Birds room, we are so excited that it's done!  We will probably add a few floating shelves on his walls for some of his toys eventually too.

Zack's room will be done soon as well.  More to come!
